Double switches for 3-phase load, 50 - 200A, 3x400V
The unit is designed for three phase connection with the triangular load type or star load with non-grounded mid-point. Power part contains contactless power switches. Every switch consists of two antiparallel connected thyristors. Their swithing is synhronized by zero pass of the net voltage. As the result - AC sine voltage is in th load. The unit can be operated in two basic modes:
Cycle-proportional mode: The load switching occurs in "batches" which are periodically repeated. The repetition time or cycle time is adjustable, either 0.5 or 5 seconds. The relation of the switching time to cycle time, determining the power supplied to the load is directly proportional to the size of the analog controller. Control signal is a DC current of 4-20 mA resp. 0-20 mA or voltage DC 0-10V.
Two-state mode: When this mode is disabled converter analog-to-cycle time and the unit works as contactless contactor, the logical signal corresponding to the logical entry. Each switch has a separate control logic input.
The actual switching occurs either immediately after detecting the zero voltage on thyristors, or after definite phase delay. The size of delay is adjustable in several intervals from 0 to 90 ° electrical, and depending on inductive component impedance load.
