Description
Phase contol power regulator ELFIStor 3F 3-phase, 50-300 A
The unit is designed for three phase connection with the triangular load type or star load with non-grounded mid-point, star with grounded mid-point and for opened triangle. Load cane be connected to unit output either directly or through the isolating or impedance transformer. Power section contains contactless power switch, consisting of two antiparallel connected thyristors. Thyristors operate in phase control mode so that the switch is off in first time interval during one half period and the switch is on the rest of the time interval. As the consequence of that the load AC voltage is non-sinusoidal. Its value depends on thyristor switched angle. This angle can be controlled either directly from input terminals or from output internal current regulator.In first case the unit operates as voltage regulator without feed-back, in second realizes the current regulator functions resp. power. The current limiter is in operation in all th cases which protects both - against overload and independent unit. The choice of regulatory regime can be realized programmatically using the internal configuration connections or from built a mini-console (160 and 200 A).
To meet standarts ČSN EN 61000-6-4 (inustrial environment) or 61000-6-3 (residual areas, business and light industry) EMI suppress filters of the range ELF of the type 1ELF50LP-1ELF200LP are supplied.
